Government...

There really is not much to say about what's been going on in my life lately. Same old, same old. A confused guy that does not know what he wants from me. Whether he wants to be just friends or more...Who knows? Well except him, and he is not willing to disclose that information. As for the rest...well my papaw was in the hospital, but now he's out. Oh, and government. I have a test in there tomorrow!!! I have to share with you what I was reading before, though. It made me so angry. In the book it said that members of the House or the Senate will vote a certain way on a proposal according to the number of votes it could potentially cost them, for voting that way, the next election. So, therefore, what it is saying is that the nice memebers of our Congress are voting on proposals according to how popular they will be with the voters, for next election, in accordance with the way they choose to vote on the proposal; rather than actually being concerned and voting the right way concerning the issue that is being put forth in front of them. That sickens me. Oh well. I will talk to you all later. Tell me what you think about this.

Drowning

Dark solace,
Deep regret.
I turn to the night,
It bids me rest.

I try as I might,
But I cannot overcome,
This power you hold over me.
It is the darkest of night,

I try to close my eyes,
And I see an image of you.
Not a true image,
For to me you have no definitive form.

You are only a shell.
A shell of something warm and true
Shining through the darkest of night,
Shining brightly to lead me.

But then the light goes out.
Where did you go?
You are no longer there.
Oh, but wait, I see a flicker.

Is that you?
Or am I dreaming?
No, that is you.
But one question I hold to ask.

Are you back to take me?
Or are you back to torture me?
I cannot endure more pain,
For I have suffered enough.

Please, if you are not here to save me,
Tell me so.
I do not mind the company
But do not give me false hopes and dreams.

YAY!!!!

SO....How is everyone!!! I am doing quite well. Halloween i s ahead us!!!! YAY!!!! That makes me extremely happy!!! I love Halloween. Speaking of Halloween, Man Yin, my mom, and I went to the haunted forrest in Big Stone and it was great. I didn't really get scared too much. The only time that scared me was the man with the chainsaw...and I just really hate chainsaws. lol The most fun I has was watching my mom and Man Yin when they got scared. I'm horrible but when it's things like that I love to watch other people get scared. lol Anyway. Let's see. YAY!!!! I made a 96 on my Government test Friday. Hopefully the first of many. I'm also sitting here waiting for Tyler to respond to a message I sent him 50 years ago. Oh...wait that's right...he probably fell asleep. lol I'm kinda bored right now. Blah. If only if only. Oh..that reminds me of the movie Holes. I liked that movie. Anyway...babbling. Which is mostly what a blog is isn't it. Well not always...but sometimes. lol Oh well...whatever. Well it's almost 2 a.m. and I have church in the morning. Everyone have a delightful day!!!

NEW!!!

Well hey!!! I'm new here. So how is everyone. I hope someone posts comments on here. I never get anyone at my other journal. Well a couple...and then they just disappear. lol Oh well. How was today? Well it wasn't so bad. I got a 100 on my essay for political science. I think that is the first in the history of all essays. lol Anyway. It's about time for me to go. I'll post later. Bye
